Green Bean Casserole
|16 Oz||French Cut Greenbeans||28 Oz|
|1 Cup||Heavy Cream||1½ Cup|
|2 Med||Mushrooms, diced small||5 Med|
|1 tsp||Butter||2 tsp|
|1/2 tsp||Garlic Salt||¾ tsp|
|1/8 tsp||Pepper||¼ tsp|
|2 Tbsp||Fried Onions||¼ cup|
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet over medium high heat, brown diced mushrooms in butter until browned.
Add cream and reduce until thickened. (Approx 10 minutes) Make sure you stir up all the lovely browned mushroom bits on the bottom of the pan.
Add garlic salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings.
Stir in green beans to coat. Pour into small baking dish and cover with fried onions.
Bake 20 minutes.
