Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
2 C | Raw Pumpkin Seeds, washed and air dried |
1 ½ Tbs | Butter, melted |
1 ½ tsp | Salt |
Preheat oven to 350° degrees F. In a bowl toss pumpkin seeds melted butter and salt. Spread out evenly on a jelly-roll pan and bake until brown and crispy. Stir often to brown evenly. You can use oil instead of the butter but I think butter gives it a better flavor.
If you like your seeds extra salty, dissolve ¼ cup of salt in 1 cup of water. (You may need to apply some heat.) Then soak the cleaned seeds in the brine over night before air drying them and roasting as directed.
