Sesame Wings
2 Lbs | Chicken Wings |
½ Cup | Vegetable Oil |
½ Cup | Sherry |
¼ Cup | Soy Sauce |
¼ Cup | Lemon Juice |
¼ Cup | Toasted Sesame Seeds |
2 Cloves | Garlic |
Wash chicken wings in cold water. Remove any pin feathers. If desired, you can cut the wings into three sections at the joints. Discard the wing tips if you do this. If using the wings whole, push the wing tip end behind the other end of the wing to make a sturdy wing triangle. Put chicken wings in large ziploc bag. Place all other ingredients in a blender and blend for two minutes. Pour the blended marinade in with wings and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Preheat broiler. Broil; wings 5 inches from heat for 7 minutes per side. Baste once on each side with mariande. Garnish with extra sesame seeds if desired. Makes about 20 drumettes. Carbs: ~5 per serving. Serves 2.
