Turkey Dressing
Per Serving:
1 slice | Low-Carb Bread |
2 Tbsp | Onion |
2 Tbsp | Celery |
1 tsp | Butter |
1/4 tsp | Ground Sage |
1/4 cup | Turkey or Chicken Broth |
Salt & Pepper to taste |
Toast bread. Break into crumbs and toast again until crumbs are dry. Mix with onion, celery, butter, sage and broth. Taste and adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Place in baking vessel. If you want your dressing to be dense, pack it down.
Because the recipe is designed to be scalable for the number of people who will be eating the low-carb dressing I'm not going to give you a specific baking time.
If you want a crispy top on it, bake it uncovered at 425°F until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
If you want it to be moist throughout, cover and bake it at 350° until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
